Before and After-School Care
We believe it is important to support our children and their parents in any way we can and this is why we offer wraparound care provision on site, to help working parents/carers who need out of school hours care for their children. Children from Ridgeway Infant and Gayton Junior School can attend. The club comes under the umbrella of the school’s Ofsted registration and is run by staff who are employed by the school.
Children’s individual needs are considered and values deriving from different racial, cultural, religious and linguistic backgrounds are recognised and respected.
Breakfast Club runs from 7:30am to 8:45am in the morning.
Children are provided with healthy breakfast and can then play before starting school. We can take up to 30 children each morning.
After School Club runs from 3:20pm to 5:45pm [5.15pm on Fridays]
Children can be booked in until 4.30pm and will have a snack.
Children booked for the full session are provided with a light meal and drink.
We can take up to 30 children each afternoon.
To register for an account or to book a session, please follow the quick step guide below:
- Register for an account for wraparound care
- Please confirm that you have read the Terms and Conditions
- Add your desired Wraparound Care Club location as centre – Ridgeway Infant School
- Add your child(ren) to the account before attempting to make a booking
- Ensure all the Consent questions, Collector, Emergency Contacts and Doctor details are added.
- After this click on Book Activity to make a booking.
- Select the dates you wish to book!
We urge you to ensure you book the sessions you require so that we do not have to turn you away if we are full. Sessions must be paid for in advance please. Payment plans are available when paying by debit or credit cards. Once booked, if a child does not attend for any reason, you will still be charged for this place. If you wish to cancel the place altogether, two days’ notice is required. We accept payments by direct debit, credit/debit cards and childcare vouchers.
There will always be a Club Manager on site who will be supported by a team of Playworkers. All team members are trained in health and safety, paediatric first aid and safeguarding.
